Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Limited (SABTNL) is commonly known as SAB TV. There are currently five channels running under the network out of which Mastiii (A National Music Channel) was the first channel launched. Mujhe meri family se bachao was the first sit-com produced by the Network for its Mastiii channel. It became the first music channel to air a wholesome family entertainment television sitcom which later went onto becoming a trend in the Hindi television industry.
The story of the sitcom is presented from a child’s perspective. Children often surprise the elders of the family when they are asked about their views or thought about their parents and that is exactly what the sitcom was about. Its an insight into the child protagonist’s mind of how he perceives his family. The sitcome aired on 1st August 2011 and had a successful run of 25 episodes.
